What is ProPersona?

ProPersona is an iPhone and iPad app that builds a memory of your professional experience: your roles, projects, decisions, stories and the way you write. Your AI agent uses that memory to help with your work, can represent you to other professionals, and, if you choose, can be read by AI apps you connect. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who can see it, and your rights over it.

ProPersona is operated by Dastrix Pte Ltd, a company in Singapore, which is responsible for your personal data (the data controller). “We” and “us” in this policy mean Dastrix Pte Ltd.

Short version: We collect only what we need to run the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train general AI models. The service providers below process your data to run ProPersona. Your account has a public page from sign up. You decide whether your agent accepts questions and which AI apps, if any, can read your memory.

What data we collect

Data you provide

  • Account info: your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Apple.
  • Career data: your CV (if you choose to upload it), job titles, industry, experience level and any other profile details you enter.
  • Training answers: the answers you give your agent so it can learn about you.
  • Chat messages: your conversations with your agent.
  • Questions to other people's agents: questions you ask another person's agent in the app.
  • Your photo: a photo for your public page, if you add one.
  • Your country: the country shown with your agent on the world map of agents. Country only, never a city or a precise location.

Data collected automatically

  • Usage analytics: screens visited, features used and session length, through Firebase Analytics and PostHog. PostHog starts only after you agree, and any session recording hides all text and images.
  • Crash reports: if the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects a report (device type, OS version, stack trace).
  • Notification token: if you allow notifications, we store a token for each device, with the platform, app build and time zone, so we can send the notifications you asked for.
  • Usage counts: how many messages, tool uses and connected app reads you have used this month, so monthly limits can apply.
  • Purchase records: if purchases are offered, Apple processes all payments. We receive only confirmation of what was bought; we never see your payment card details.

Who we share data with

We use the following services to run ProPersona. Each has its own privacy policy.

ServicePurposePrivacy policy
Google Firebase and Google CloudSign in, data storage, server functions, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, app integrity checks, automatic safety checks on photosfirebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google GeminiGenerating your agent's responses, including its answers to questions other people ask itai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
PostHogProduct analytics, only after you agreeposthog.com/privacy
AppleSign in with Apple, delivering notifications, and processing any purchasesapple.com/legal/privacy

We also use Google Sign-In if you sign in with Google, and Google BigQuery for internal service health and cost reporting, which is linked to an internal account identifier. If you ask your agent to read a job advert from a link, your device loads that page directly, so the website hosting it sees a normal visit from your device. Apart from these, no other company receives your data, except an AI app you connect yourself (see “Connected AI apps” below). Other ProPersona users see only what the “Your public page” section describes.

Your public page

Your page.Your account has a public page at an address made from your first name and a few digits, with a short code (for example 7291-NORI) that is easier to type. You can change the address once. See the Terms of Service's “Your public page” section for the rules that govern it.

What becomes public.Your first and last name, your agent's name, its mark and character, an introduction written by your agent or by you, and your photo if you add one. While your agent is still learning, the page says so, nobody can ask it anything, and it asks search engines not to index it. A photo is checked automatically before it can appear. A photo that fails the check is deleted at once and never shown. A photo the check cannot clear is kept private and never shown; choosing another photo replaces it.

What never becomes public. Your email address, your training answers in their original form, your chat history, your CV, your device information and your usage data.

Who can read it. Anyone with the address or short code, including search engines once your agent is trained, can read the page. A public page is public. Reading is all a signed out visitor can do: asking your agent a question, following you and poking you all need a signed in ProPersona account and happen in the app. The page has no analytics. Like any website, our hosting keeps routine request logs for operating and securing the service.

Questions asked of your agent.Only a person signed in to ProPersona can ask your agent a question, and you can switch asking off. When someone asks, the question and your agent's answer are stored, together with who asked: their account identifier, first name, their agent's name, mark and look, and their page address, as they were when they asked. This lets you see who has been talking to your agent. We do not store their email address or their browser or device information with the question. We automatically filter some identifying details, such as email addresses and phone numbers, out of questions, but the filter can miss things, so please do not include sensitive information. Questions, answers and the asker's details become due for deletion after 30 days and are then removed automatically. To enforce daily limits we also keep, for about two days, a count of how many questions came from an account. Questions you asked other people's agents are deleted when your account is deleted, and the same is true the other way.

Pokes. While your agent is still learning, a signed in visitor can poke you, at most once a week, to say they would like to ask it something. You get a notification with their first name and your agent's name, and nothing else. We keep nothing about a poke except rate limit counters, which expire after about nine days.

Following someone. If you follow another person's page, they can see it: your first name, your agent's name, mark and look, and a link to your own public page appear in their followers list. Unfollowing removes the record. Deleting either account removes it too.

Your country and the world map.The app has a world map of agents. If you have a country set, your agent appears on that map and in the list of agents in your country, with your page address, first name, agent's name, mark and character. We store a two letter country code only. The app may set it once from your phone's region setting; it never asks for location permission and never uses GPS. You can change it, or choose “Not set” to leave the map, at any time. Your country is not shown on your public web page.

If your page comes down.If we take a page down, it stops being served and your material stays in your account. If you delete the agent the page was built from, the page stops being served and that agent's training and conversations are deleted, as the app explains before you confirm.

If you delete your account. Your public page and everything stored with it are deleted with the rest of your account. Your page address is retired and is never given to anyone else. Your short code is deleted.

Connected AI apps

You can let an AI app you choose, such as ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code, read your ProPersona memory. Nothing is shared unless you create a key in Settings and connect the app yourself.

  • What it can read: your name, role, industry, experience level, your agents' names, the stories you told your agent, what your agent learned in training, and your CV. Your CV is sent as you uploaded it; we do not remove personal details from it first.
  • Read only: a connected app can never change, add or delete anything in your account.
  • The app's maker: once an app reads your data, its maker handles it under its own privacy policy and may keep it. We do not choose that app and have no contract with its maker.
  • What we store about keys: a one way fingerprint of each key (never the key itself), the name you gave it, its first few characters so you can tell keys apart, when it was created, last used, expires and was revoked, and a monthly count of reads, which you can see in the app. The full key is shown to you once and never stored.
  • Ending access: keys expire after the period you choose. Revoke a key and it stops working at once. Deleting your account stops every key first, then deletes all key records.

Data storage and retention

Your data is stored in Google Firebase in the United States (us-central1 region), so it is transferred outside Singapore and outside your own country. Our providers process it under their own data protection terms. We keep it for as long as your account is active, with these shorter limits:

  • Questions asked of another person's agent, the answers and the asker's details: due for deletion after 30 days, then removed automatically.
  • Counts used to enforce limits: expire between about 1 and 31 days after the activity they count, depending on the limit.
  • A device's notification registration: we remove it when you sign out on that device. If that fails, it stays until your account is deleted.
  • Your public page photo: a photo that fails the automatic check is deleted at once. A photo the check cannot clear stays private until you replace it or delete your account.

If you delete your account in the app (Settings > Delete Account), your account data, including your memory, agents, chats, public page and connected app keys, is permanently deleted within 30 days. Limit counters expire on their own within the periods above. Internal service health and cost records that use an internal account identifier, and routine operational logs, are kept for a limited time to run and secure the service.

Your rights

  • Access: you can view your data, including what your agent knows about you, inside the app.
  • Correct: you can review and correct your memory and profile in the app at any time.
  • Delete: you can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete Account.
  • Export: contact us at hello@dastrix.tech to request a copy of your data.

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA. Contact us at hello@dastrix.tech to exercise any of these rights.

Children

ProPersona is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello@dastrix.tech and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
